We lost our beloved Yorkie, Molly this past August. We have seen her several times in the house. She was the only Yorkie, although there are other dogs. we have seen her and felt her presence, and the other dogs have also seen her.
I believe they do…
Kanga looks great. She is stylin' in her new harness and leash. We are having trouble finding a harness small enough for our Maltese because she has a liver shunt and is only 5 pounds. The last one I bought was x-small and she could get out of it. I…

About Me:
I moderate a Dog Liver Disease website to help people
who have dogs with liver disease find medical treatment
and medically manage their dog's health. One of my dogs has a liver shunt.
My Yorkie had gallstones and developed hepatitis from the infected gall bladder which she had to have surgically removed. She is still under treatment. She is 7 now and her mother died when she was 7 and a littermate died when she was 6. Her genetic line must be very bad for her to have these problems. We are fighting this with diet and nutritional supplements and medication and hope to pull her through. She was the very first dog I ever had as a puppy and I bought her for my sister. The website I moderate is Dogliverdisease@yahoo.com My two large breed dogs were rescued from kill shelters. They were going to be put down and I was on a list for rescues. Update - Molly passed away from complications from liver disease from her infectons she got from the bad gallbladder. My
heart was broken that day and a piece of me is now missing. She was my heart.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
They look at me with such total trust and love. I have never felt this from a human before. There is no ulterior motivation from a dog. They just want to be your friend, companion and love and be loved.
Do you have a website or personal page (such as on Facebook or MySpace) that you'd like to share with other members of our community?
Thank you for your kind words. I believe you said the key words - that I made a big impression on Rio's heart to have him come back and visit me. My love for Rio was very strong and we bonded immediately that first day we met. I haven't seen Rio lately, but that is ok. I know he is doing just fine. A part of me died when Rio passed, but I know think how blessed I was to have him in my life.
Hi Beth,
My heart just skipped a beat when I read your note to me.First, thankyou so much for the comforting words. Its amazing how just a few words from someone you just met can make you smile.Im so praying for your babies.I know the expansive treatments and meds all too well, but they are worth every penny of it.I know the fear of returning home and hoping they did not pass while you were away, and waking up every so often and making sure they are still breathing and comfortable.I pray for your strength and thank God for the people like you who reach out to all the beautiful babies out there.Give them all a hug from me.Keep in touch and thankyou.Crystal
