Dogs are just about the greatest of God's creations. This is such a sweet story -thanks to Kathy. Dogs have such a love and loyalty for their families and this story proves that. Dog is surely God spelled backward.

About Me:

Until a yr. ago we, also, had a bichon. She was 16, going blind,her kidneys were failing, but she was in no pain. For 2 months we gave her saline intravenously and she was SO brave. She was the love of my life and since her quality of life was so poor I knew what I had to do. As I held her ,all the while sobbing, she gently went to dog heaven. It has been a year and still I grieve. I can feel your sorrow but also know that you did the only thing that you could do to show her how much you loved her.

What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?

At night as we sleep, she sleeps over my head--many times covering all but my nose and mouth. Also, the unconditional love all dogs seem to have for their loved ones.
