Rebecca..I fel your pain as I am going through the same thing myself ..My Cedare died in my arms after 13 years on July 23rd,2009.
I light a candle beside her picture as soon as I am home and it's like a shrine of pictures around here.

- I live with my best friend "Cedar"..Alone but never alone with my dog..She is getting old now and fear of losing her is with me daily..
Recently being self employed I ran in a person who introduced me to selling
"Hymalian Goji Juice." and with that I learned more about .pet wellness..It has made such a difference for my best friend in her mobility and her coat...She is 13 years old and now and since taking this with he food...She is spry again..now instead of running to her dish for food when I am going to feed her..she runs for it when sh hears me shaking the bottle..I am truely a dog lover and will do anything it takes to help them all..Look up" pet wellness and Goji." or.. gojihealthstories....It's great info...Now both Cedar and myself are getting younger not older.!!!!.
- What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
- Always forgives me when I have to leave her at home..She has given me more love than any human being is capable of..If only people treated people the way they treat their dog..Or if people could take a lesson from dogs and know the real meaning of "Unconditional" love..

I too can not bring myself to wash Mollies blanket nor her favorite toy.I still wake up at night looking to put my hand on her to make sure she is still breathing and is comfortable,then I remember that she is breathing well,and she is comfortable and running and playing and happy.I bet she and Cedar are good friends,running and playing and telling stories of how great their mommies are.My heart is broken and hurts so badly,but she is at rest and for that,im greatful.Remember,you and I will see our babies again someday and they will keep a special spot for us right next to them.

I lost my beloved Mollie three weeks ago today and my heart is breaking.I wish I lived close to you and we could share coffee and photos and cries.It does hurt soooo badly and it will for awhile,my Mollie is everywhere I look,she was 12 and had congestive heart failer.My hubby took me to the humane society and I adopted a long hair chi mixed, she was from a terrible home and needs lots of love and patience and is coming along pretty well.Having a hard time potty training her because she lived in a grungy old basement and never went out doors,that will come in due time.Im new at all this,but saw your beautiful photo and could feel your heartbreak and wanted to say.I know how you feel.There is another baby out there who really needs you,check your shelters.God works things out just the way they need to be.Huggs to you.Crystal
