I did an eyelid resection on my chocolate lab, Maggy, a number of years ago with the vet providing anesthesia. She had developed a melanoma. Fortunately, she did well and lived another 12 years to age 14 with no recurrence or visible scars. Bjorn is one of the fortunate dogs who has a caring and observant owner (who happens to be a vet) to monitor his health. We see a lot of abuse and neglect through our local humane society. It's always nice to see a site where people are emphasizing some positives.

I will pray for this little chow baby to be cancer free....God is good! I love all dogs and know this little fella has a genuine purpose on this earth....to make someone happy!! I will ask my vet if he did the biopsy like the film here! thank you for sharing...
