Prayers for Maui

Maui dog is in my prayers. Our family dog who is also about 16 has stomach ulcers and it has been a hard road but with a happy ending. He is happy and sucessfully living with these ulcers with special care and diet. So I know Maui will get through this,although tough for all, but my heart feels that she will be ok.

James - Your Maui reminds so much of my Rowdy. He died 2 months before he turned 20. I see Maui look at her eyes and I see him, someday I will share a picture of him with you. I am sure you have heard all kinds of remedies for her but I will tell what I did for my little one (6 lbs of pure attitude), as a geriatric dog, after talking with my vet he had 1/2 Tagamet daily, I kept on hand Mylanta plus chewable Gas X. Plus my personal was chamomile tea, cool it, add a bit of sugar and spoon it into her mouth, because she hasn't eaten she is probably very weak. None of what I explained above will hurt her and it might bring her out of the slump. These are the only things I did for Rowdy, no other meds. he died very peacefully in his sleep, after having had breakfast and lunch. I will keep Maui in my prayers as well as you and your family.

James have you tried Goji juice??You can look up goji and pet wellness...I put my dog on Goji about 6 months ago and can not believe the difference..Her cararachs are gone and a tumot she had has all but disappeared..It's an amazing product..Thanks Erin

My thoughts and prayers are with Maui, you and the rest of her family. My little 15 year old doxie has several health issues. Like you, I know that my time left with her is limited and I must enjoy that time and love on her even more!!! I wish they could spend more time with us!!! Please keep us updated on Maui.

Hi James,
I know how you feel. Doodles & I will include Maui in our intentions on our evening prayers which we do daily for my mom's healing. Don't worry, I know God will listen to our plea to extend more time for maui. He sees what is in our hearts.

Hi James~~~ Our little "fur babies" are sooooo important to us. I will pray every day for Maui until I hear from you that she is ok. Then I will thank God. I know how deep love for a pet can go, and we all know what it's like to lose one. My thoughts are with you and your family. God bless Maui and all of you.

Maui, please be easy on yourself baby and we have a candle burning for you this evening sending out healing prayers for you and strength for your Mommy and Daddy to help you get through this and over this. Rest, relax and remember that you are loved and appreciated. When it is time to leave your star will shine brightly and light the way for Mommy and Daddy and let them know that you are always with them until the day that you are reunited. Soak in the love and healing prayers being sent your way.

Dear Precious Maui and James: Please know that you are both in our prayers for a perfect outcome. I will hold Maui's image in my heart and mind as a well and happy girl. Ulcers are not much fun, but they are feeble in the face of prayer and positive thought. Together, with God's hand on her sweet, furry shoulder, and the wonderful care of her Vet, we will help Maui get well.
