My eyes filled with tears as I read your message. As a dog lover, we all must deal with the fact that we are going to live longer than our dear companions. The total love we receive is a very hard thing to lose and I am praying very hard that Maui will improve and give you much more time to meditate together and love each other.

Please know that we are praying for Maui. It is so difficult to prepare yourself for the passing
of a trusted and treasured friend!! It is so very evident that your love for Maui is true and genuine,
and if she was hurting and suffering greatly, you would be hurting and suffering with her.

I heard once that aloe vera gel caps help humans, and I wonder if they can help canines. A friend
of mine had some stomach and intestinal problems. A Herbal Expert told her to try taking the
Aloe Vera Gel Caps, and she tried them. To her amazment (and mine) it worked, and her stomach
and intestine problems were greatly reduced. Can they do it for animals too? Maybe. It is worth
asking about. It sounds pretty awful to take Aloe Vera Gel caps, but my friend swares by them.

I have lost little loved ones before. It has been a heart-wrenching time. I do hope Maui is comfortable. My prayers are with you at this time. Please keep me posted as to her well being and progress.

Jim...I have Pack Wisdom as my screensaver. I don't check my email all that often, but tonight, when I hit the power button, it was Maui's face at the end of Pack Wisdom--

And I sorta felt something was up.

I will place you and Maui on Best Friends site called Prayers, Healing, and Support. Please know you are welcome there too if you need love and support through this trying time. Maui will be in all of our prayers....

Thoughts & prayers are with you all. God will show the way & if He decides Maui should go, be assured you will see her again. GOD BLESS MAUI. I know how heart broken I`d be if Diamond had to go.

I couldn't believe the note I just received about Maui. Of course that cute little dog will be in our prayers. Our dog and cat have suffered with health issues the past couple of years and we know what you are going through.

Keep us updated on how she is doing.

Please Know That Maui is in my prayers, I hope she regains her strength,and once again becomes our lil heathy Maui... Through your letters and pictures, I feel as though I have known Maui, she is precious, and I want to thank you for sharing her with me, God Bless YOU!

You and Maui will be in my thoughts and prayers. Prayer for me is surender to the highest good that only the Universe in its totality knows, so I always pray to be aligned with this Highest Good. I will send you and Maui some Lovestream energy from the Master Kuthumi. I have a fifteen year old blind chihuahua and her trials have been vehicles for my learning to trust the ultimate benevolence of the Universe and God.

My heart goes out to you with Maui not feeling well. With the special care you give her, and if she is strong enough otherwise, I am sure she will recover. If she isn't well enough, and she is too tired, you must not be selfish enough to ask her to live on anyway -- because you are not ready to give her up. It's very had to accept that you may have to let go, but I pray for what is best for Maui. I also pray that when you must give her up, you will dwell on the wonderful times you had and the love and lessons she shared with you, as well as all the people like me who have followed her life with such interest and delight. How fortunate you have been to have her unconditional love for 16 years!! She is a blessing to all of us.

All My Positive Thoughts Go Out To You And Maui, I've "Been There" With Ill Animals, So I DO Know How You Feel...Prayers For You Guys, Also.

I'm Sure You Are Trying Most Everything To Alleviate Maui's Symptoms And Root Cause Of The Ulcers...But Have You Or Your Vet Thought Of Something That Is Not Holistic? I Suffered From Severe Stomach Ulcers, And The One Thing That Really Helped Me, Was Something Along The Lines Of Prilosec, Or Similar Medications...(Omeprazole.) It Is A "Proton Pump Inhibitor" (Stomach Acid) AND It Does Heal Ulcers...IF Dogs Can Tolerate This Med (At A Proper Dose) I Really Believe It Would Help...Just A Thought.
