It is with a heavy heart that I
am writing to let you know that
Maui passed away today.
I thank you and everyone in our
community who has kept us in
your thoughts and prayers these
past few days.
I know that Maui was a little
part of a lot of people's lives.
I am going to disconnect from email
for a few days, but if you would
like to send your condolences or
words of support, please post a
comment below.
Please know that I will read all
of your kind messages when I
re-emerge sometime next week.
Again, many thanks for your
support and prayers this past week.
Molly and I (and most importantly,
Maui) felt them. Thank you from
the bottom of my heart.

I am so very sorry about Maui. She had a really good life with so much love and now she has shed her old body and is leaping and playing with all the other dogs and waiting for you to cross Rainbow Bridge. When you arrive, the two of you will be together again. Don't think of her as gone, she will be with you always, in your heart, until you join her again.
My heart goes out to you at this time. I know the emptiness you feel but we must just think of when we will be with them again. I, myself, will be met by a sea of white Sammy's when I pass. I look forward to that reunion, so much. Thank you for sharing Maui with all of us.
James,
I am so extremely sorry for your loss. Losing my Cookie was the hardest thing I have gone through, so I know how you must feel. Go in and feel the loss and get in touch with the sadness to you can have the peace of God in the present moment. Listen with your six sense for message she will send from the other side. My cookie sent messages through songs and I was able to see her through meditation. I hope this helps. If you would like for me to sent you copies of my journal from the messages I received the first few days I would gladly send them to for you to post in order to help you and others heal. Time will heal the pain, but her memory will always be carried in your heart. love & light elizabeth

James and Molly, my heart is hurting for you so much. There is no way to explain this kind of pain. It will subside in time, but she will always be there. My Molly, Abbie, Maggie, Ringo and Raven are joining paws with prayers for you during this time. Take your time, you will have to heal. I hope she's seeing all the beautiful colors at Rainbow Bridge and has met up with my Fluffles and they are running, playing and everything else that they were unable to do in their last years. You'll have to close your eyes and picture her doing this.
With aching heart and tears, our thoughts, love and prayers are with you,
Chris Wierer

I am so sorry, I loved Maui, too. She reminded me of my Lucky, even though he is Bichon, poodle mix, they resembled each other. I would be so lost without my Lucky as I know you are without your Maui. God bless you, and know she is walking in heaven beside the Lord.

Hello James and Molly,
you have our deepest sympathy. We have had to make this same sad decision many times in our lives, sadly, it is never easy. The most brave thing you have done is to let Maui be at peace. I know she let you know it was time, and you respected that in spite of the heavy hearts you had. She loved you and you her, and that is the best most beautiful testament to the gift you gave each other.
be well

James and Molly - please accept my sympathy in this very difficult time for you.
Maui touched so many hearts and she will be missed. It is truly amazing, how such a tiny little dog can leave such a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved her. Try to remember the joy you had with Maui over the years and know that the pain you are feeling now can never take those years away from you.
God Bless, Ann
