It is with a heavy heart that I
am writing to let you know that
Maui passed away today.
I thank you and everyone in our
community who has kept us in
your thoughts and prayers these
past few days.
I know that Maui was a little
part of a lot of people's lives.
I am going to disconnect from email
for a few days, but if you would
like to send your condolences or
words of support, please post a
comment below.
Please know that I will read all
of your kind messages when I
re-emerge sometime next week.
Again, many thanks for your
support and prayers this past week.
Molly and I (and most importantly,
Maui) felt them. Thank you from
the bottom of my heart.
James and Molly,
I am so sorry for your loss. Maui is waiting for you, on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge - she and all the wanted and unwanted, loved and unloved are there together. They don't hurt anymore, they can run and play, and they're just waiting for the people who loved them, or people who need them. Be strong, because that is what Maui would want - reflect on the warm memories, treasure the small moments. She will love you always, as you will love her.
Best friends don't leave us, they just run ahead to a better place.
Darling little Maui...precious little soul....dance in the Light lovely little one! How lucky we all are to have known you through your wonderful Daddy! God bless you sweetie.

James and Molly, We are so sorry to hear of Maui's passing but know that she is now romping happily and painfree on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with all of our beloved ones who have gone there before her. Wirey hugs and love and xxx and licks from Janet, Bobby and Asta
I have a very good reason that our loving pets dont live as long as we do. when I had to have my cocker put down and i was crying so hard my grandson said to me, grandma we have to live alot longer then they do as we have to learn to love and accept everyone as they are and to love unconditionaly. they already know how to do that, so that is whly God takes them sooner. he was only 9 at the time. out of the mouths of babes, come great wisdom sometimes.
James & Molly, May God send you every wonderful memory of Maui to heal your broken heart for only True Love could make you feel as you do right now! Maui is celebrating at Rainbow Bridge, content in the knowledge that her goal in life has been accomplished!! Maui's LEGACY OF LOVE will forever live in hearts across the WORLD!! With tears of joy, I cry with you and others at the loss of such a bright and shining star! I THANK YOU for sharing one of Maui's most precious possessions with the world - You and Molly. We all stand today - Remembering LOVE because of YOU and Molly sharing MAUI and her legacy of love. Take all the time you need to heal - I have lost three children over the past 18 years and I can say with confidence, Maui is not gone from your life - she has just moved completely into your heart for safe keeping!!!!! Love & Prayers, Dorrie
James and Molly- I don't have the words to express my sorrow at Mauis' passing.I can only tell you that this special little dog, with your help, made a difference to so many, all over the world. One day you all will be re-united, but in the meantime, you have your own little Angel, who I know will continue to watch over you, and inspire you in your work. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
