Dog Spirit

Several months ago, I came home from a trip and was very ill. Kind of like food poisoning but it lasted for 4 days. One day while I was still sick, Rio came to the entrance of my bedroom door and looked at something beside my head and began barking. He barked for a good 20 mins and would not come in. It was frightening at first. But then I became calm and felt it was the spirit of my dog (affectionately called Boo) who had passed over a year prior. Boo was watching over me I believe.

Boo had been rescued by me before he turned 2 years old and was very viscious.
Lab Rescue had told me to put him down and my vet had said the same. Needless to say, he stayed with me. It was obvious that he had been mistreated. Boo was different than my other dogs and was my soul puppy. After the first year with me, my vet came by to give everyone their vaccinations and he couldn't believe the transformation. Boo was a constant companion and quite the character. He is still
loved and missed terribly...but every now and then I still feel like he visits.
