About Me:: Pets have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! I don't own pets, I am blessed to have them share my life for how ever long they can! I have lost many over the Rainbow Bridge, but know that my parents, Jeanne and Freddie, are looking out for them: Tippy, Shelby and Maggie and many feline friends, too, plus one hairless rat! I have worked as a veterinary technician and at the Humane Society of Chatham-Savannah, where I helped save many, many homeless animals. (Yes, some are with me still!) Each day I wake up I do so knowing God has given me another day on Earth to spend with my canine and feline companions!

What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?: When Gracie looks at me with those deep, brown eyes, and then jumps around like a puppy, although 13! When Max acts like a "kid" each time I come home; When Max and Gracie still (try) to play together, and with me. . .they love me unconditionally, and it helps me to love others the same way!

Also, three hens, two that lay green eggs, and a rooster. Two male guineas. One peking duck and one mallard duck. eight canadian geese that we raised from babies from the pond. two goldfish. Daniel and Jessica has seven half-grown pigs and two dogs, Bear and Hercules, and a ferret.
Micheal will be ten on September 13th. He is in the Fourth grade. Mekala is seven and in the 2nd grade. They both have orange belts in TaeKwonDo. Micheal is a Webelo Cub Scout and Mekala is a Brownie Girl Scout. So Ma has lots of homework to do and trips to make. They also went to three camps this summer.
Dog-Dog is so special to us. It's like we still have part of Mama with us. Today is her birthday and it has been one of those teary-eyed days.
We are doing OK. Derrol is still weak and bored from being inside so much since his surgery. I have started to work at the High School Lunchroom full-time.
