I'm a school bus driver/nurse's aide as my professon. I have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and am ruled by my 5 furrykids.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
My 12yr old maltese Tammi, is very sick with heart disease and a recently diagnosed tumor on her spleen, she has an un-dying spirit and quality of such unconditional love and devotion for as sick as she is, never wanting much just a little hug or hold and the gentle wag of her tail. Her heart is huge, but then again, I guess it has more love to give.

Thanks so much, I have always wanted a maltese but have never had one. I used to love the German Shepard but once a Yorkie piked me out(litterally) I was hooked. I used to work at a grooming shop. There were dogs left every once in awhile that were never picked up. A large pet group came in once, 3 Yorkies, a Doberman and 2 cats. The people never came back. All but one Yorkie found a home. This little girl would greet me every morning and stare at me all day from her cage. I would let her out occasionally for exercise and play. We just became good friends and one Christmas she climbed into my duffle and I took her home. She was great. She passed away with 23 years of puppyhood.
